Step Ahead Podiatry is a registered Allied Health Provider under Medicare’s Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program. This means if you suffer from a chronic medical condition such as Diabetes or Rheumatoid Arthritis & your GP decides it is warranted, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 5 podiatry appointments per year. Your GP will need to provide you with the correct referral form that has been submitted to Medicare for you to be able to claim the rebate.
Step Ahead Podiatry is a registered Allied Health provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). This means any Gold card holder may be eligible for podiatry care if their GP deems it necessary & provides a referral. Some white card holders may also be eligible if their GP decides podiatry should be a part of their care in relation to a specific injury or condition.
